Cape Coral native, Donna Germain, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral, started her career with the Chamber in 2004 as its Membership Relations Manager. In 2005, she was promoted to Communications and Marketing Director. In 2015, Germain became the first female President/CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral.

In addition to her work with the Chamber, Germain sits on the board of directors for the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals where she serves as the Chairman for the Southwest Region of Florida. In 2018, she served as a member of The News-Press Editorial Board. She is a board member and 3rd Vice President for the Cultural Park Theatre, and is a past Board Member of C.A.R.E.S. Suicide Prevention. She served on the planning committee for Relay For Life of Cape Coral for more than 10 years and served as the 2010 and 2011 Event Chair. Both years, the event was recognized as a TOP 25 Fundraising event out of hundreds of Relay’s in the state of Florida.

In 2011, Germain was recognized as one of Gulf Shore Business Magazines 40 Under 40. She is a 2005 graduate of the Leadership Cape Coral Program and a 2006 Graduate of the Advanced Leadership Cape Coral Program. In 2017, Germain graduated from the Institute For Organization Management and received the designation IOM.

Lisa King

Executive Director Global Purchasing Operations

Lisa King is Executive Director, Global Purchasing Operations and Strategy.  In this role Lisa is responsible for procurement strategy and policy, Purchasing IT infrastructure, for vehicle programs and ensuring that component sourcing strategies are aligned with global product programs, and that sourcing is delivered on time and to budget, for regional Purchasing operational performance, and for Indirect Purchasing with an annual spend of $30 million .


Prior to this role, Lisa has held a variety of Purchasing positions across all vehicle components, with particular depth in raw materials, stampings, transportation and manufacturing equipment, as well as in Ford’s Supplier Technical Assistance through which supplier quality performance is led.  Lisa was Vice President Purchasing Ford Sollers – Ford’s joint venture in Russia.  After her role in Russia, Lisa was Global Director of Chassis Purchasing, based in Germany. Lisa then moved to Turkey where she was Deputy General Manager of Ford Otosan, Ford’s joint venture in Turkey, an 11,000 employee, $7 billion revenue and 3 plant operation.  Lisa was also Product Director for the Transit family of products globally, with a revenue stream of $25 billion, based in the UK.


Lisa joined Ford in 1996 having graduated from Loughborough University in England, and after an early career with Ernst & Young Consulting.


Gloria Raso Tate

Gloria Raso Tate is a 61- year resident of Cape Coral arriving the day of Hurricane Donna. She began her community service from the day she arrived in Cape Coral. Gloria’s accomplishment include  
Cape Coral City Council District 1 elected to serve 2 terms and appointed to fill 2 additional terms. Gloria was the Chair of the Cape Coral Chamber in 1997 and served in many other leadership roles including Chairing the Government Affairs Committee for 2020-2021. Gloria is a Founding Board Member for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter and currently serving as the Secretary and President of the Cape Coral Museum of History.

Gloria is active in local community efforts starting the First Relay for Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, organizing the First Bone Marrow/Platlet Drive, the First Block Party’s in downtown Cape Coral, the First National Day of Prayer and other community efforts.  
Gloria has been a licensed Realtor since 1978 and actively working in the real estate profession since 1988. Gloria has been recognized for many accomplishments, among them the Paulette Burton Lee County Citizen of the Year and recognized by both the Women’s Council of Realtor’s and the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral for Lifetime Achievement.

Dr. Amy Teprovich

Keiser University, Campus President - Fort Myers


Dr. Amy Teprovich currently serves as the Campus President at Keiser University.  She has spent over 20 years in higher education leadership roles at a variety of institutions.  She relocated to Fort Myers, Florida in 2004 to serve as the Director of Campus Involvement at Florida Gulf Coast University.  She later joined Edison State College and became the Dean of Students and also held the Academic Dean role at Rasmussen College.

Dr. Teprovich originally joined Keiser University as the Dean of Academic Affairs.  In that role, she successfully launched several allied health academic programs including an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy bridge program.  She also led the implementation of a new advising model to improve retention and focus on student success.

In addition to her administrative roles, Dr. Teprovich has taught many courses and served on dissertation committees. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Mathematics and Economics, and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Reverend Mike Warthen

MDiv, BCC, Chaplain – Lee Memorial Hospital
System Director Spiritual Services


Reverend Mike Warthen has served as chaplain for Lee Memorial Hospital since January of 2016. He was promoted to System Director of Spiritual Services when the former director resigned to pursue other opportunities in late 2017.

Mike is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduation he successfully completed a total of 5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. In pursuit of God’s call on his life he pastored a small church on the Gulf Coast of Texas before accepting his first full-time chaplain position at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mike has 24 years of experience as a chaplain in acute care settings, bariatric surgery, and has served as a volunteer police and high school athletic chaplain in various places. He joined the Lee Health staff and subsequently moved to Fort Myers from Pinehurst, North Carolina. Mike and his wife are native Floridians.

Dr. Paul Simeone

Vice President - Medical Director of Behavioral Health  Lee Health


Dr. Simeone received his M.A. in experimental psychology from Mount Holyoke College, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in New York.

He completed his clinical training at The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, where he was a Clinical Fellow in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.  He was also awarded a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in HMO Mental Health at Harvard Community Health Plan, where, as a staff member, he held a variety of clinical, leadership and teaching positions. In addition, he was a psychologist at McLean-Massachusetts General Hospital where he joined the clinical faculty in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.  He has taught there and at other institutions for the last 30 years. Most recently, Dr. Simeone was Associate Director of Outpatient Psychiatry at The Cambridge Health Alliance and maintained a private independent practice in Belmont, MA. His clinical & academic interests include: integrative models of evidenced-based/informed psychotherapy, cultural aspects of psychopathology and normal functioning, and program development at the interface of community and behavioral health service needs.

Registered Dietitian

Lisa Roth is a registered dietitian with over 25 years of experience. She has enjoyed a variety of work-related experiences which included answering calls for a nutrition hotline, teaching nutrition classes, working with WIC and EFNEP/FSNEP clients, being part of a team for college students who had eating disorders, and working at a long-term care campus for individuals with disabilities. Currently she is employed full-time at Lee Health as an outpatient dietitian.
